I was in in the press pit doing event photography for the Kaiser Chiefs concert at Wadebridge which was part of celebtrity chef Paul Ainsworths Travelling feast event. This was my first concert photo shoot since lockdown began in 2020, in previous years I’d been fortunate to be invited to the Eden sessions for the likes of Lionel Richie and Blondie.  It was a brilliant performance by the band, and the local audience loved every minute of it.

My favourite picture is the featured image, I like the way the lights beam out behind Ricky.

The cover picture was taken with the Fuji X-T4 and F2.8 zoom at 33mm, 1/640s, ISO 1250. As allways shooting without flash in such fast changing lighting conditions is a challenge, but I think the Fuji did a great job. My second shooter had the ISO too high, and the camera ended up using the electronic shutter, which produced really bad banding, so thats one to watch if you’re doing any concerts.
