Welcome to my photography blog. Above is a rare selfie of me and Wend, and of course the Pug. I started photography 2014. Soon after I got the bug I signed up with Alamy Live News, and quickly found myself getting published several times a month in the national press. My main focus in the early years was on news and landscape pictures, with a quite a big following on my twitter account @mouseholeman for the pictures I took around Mousehole in the far south west of Cornwall where I was living. Since then I’ve moved to north Cornwall.
How would I describe my style ? – I think given i cut my teeth doing fast moving events and rough weather that I’m best at shooting natural rather than highly posed pictures, and capturing spur of the moment events. I do quite a wide genre of photography, including events, news, portraits and Weddings – which I particularly enjoy doing.
At the moment I’m shooting with Nikon and Fuji, and I’ve recently invested in a small DJI drone, which for it’s size can take some amazing still and video footage.
